Your booth is one part of your conference presence. Outside the venue, attendees are walking between sessions, heading back to hotels, and making their way to dinners and after-parties. Those moments give your brand more opportunities to get noticed.

A wrapped fleet can put your message along those routes. A complimentary ride can make someone’s day easier. An unexpected vehicle can turn your positioning into something people stop to photograph.

The strongest idea connects your message to the people attending. Here are nine ways to bring it to the streets.

Build a presence around the event

1. Put your brand on a rideshare fleet

Wrapped rideshare vehicles give your campaign a moving presence across the host city, supporting awareness before, during, and after conference week.

Keep the creative readable: a recognizable brand, a short message, and a design people can understand at a glance. Someone crossing the street should be able to get the idea without stopping to read a paragraph.

For a tech company, that might mean leading with the problem you solve or the product benefit you want attendees to remember.

2. Bring the fleet together with a SWARM

A SWARM coordinates multiple branded vehicles around a defined event area, concentrating your presence around the places and times that matter.

Map out the venue, nearby hotels, and your own evening events. Then consider when attendees will be moving between them. A coordinated fleet can make your brand a recurring sight throughout that journey.

3. Give attendees a useful ride

Complimentary branded transportation gives people a reason to interact with your brand. Depending on the format, the experience can include ambassadors, swag, product information, or an invitation to your next event.

At Dreamforce, WalkMe used branded pedicabs to offer free rides around Moscone Center, with swag and ambassador interaction along the way.

The ride created time with the brand while helping attendees get where they needed to go.

Make the vehicle part of the creative

4. Build an all-electric fleet

An all-electric fleet could reinforce a campaign about innovation, energy, or the future of transportation.

An AI company might build a concept around “what’s next.” An energy technology brand could connect the vehicles directly to its product story. The vehicle choice should support a clear idea.

Plan early for vehicle availability, charging, and the campaign’s operating schedule.

5. Treat the whole vehicle as the canvas

A wrap can do more than place a logo on each door. The shape and scale of the vehicle can become part of the concept.

Consider:

  • A giant software interface, with a different product benefit on each vehicle.
  • A cybersecurity fleet designed to look like moving vaults.
  • A series of short messages distributed across several cars.
  • A product mascot or distinctive visual world carried across the fleet.

Each vehicle should make sense on its own. People may see one car, several cars, or the entire fleet together.

6. Make exotic cars the centrepiece

Exotic vehicles create opportunities for photography, team participation, and content production alongside the street campaign.

At Dreamforce, Outreach deployed three branded McLarens. The activation included fleet circulation, a photo and video shoot, a staff showcase, and a ride with the company’s CEO.

Think about how the vehicles can support the wider campaign: a customer moment, a team gathering, or content your sales and marketing teams can use after the conference.

Turn your positioning into something people can see

7. Make the vehicle the metaphor

Crosby AI brought its “death to the billable hour” positioning to Dreamforce with a funeral procession: three hearses, five black SUVs, and an oversized rooftop casket.

The vehicle choice made the message immediately tangible. The procession, rooftop prop, and campaign copy all reinforced the same idea.

Start with the position your company wants to own. What object, vehicle, or scene would help someone understand it in seconds?

8. Bring an armored truck to a cybersecurity conference

One concept we’d love to explore: a branded armored truck carrying a cybersecurity company’s message around a major industry event.

The creative could connect physical protection to digital security—protecting valuable data, controlling access, or securing what matters most.

This is a proposed concept. Vehicle availability and operating requirements would shape the final execution, but it shows how a familiar vehicle can give a technical message a clear visual expression.

9. Take the creative above the roofline

A custom rooftop prop adds dimension to a wrapped vehicle.

Imagine an oversized cursor for an automation platform, a giant lock for a security company, or a physical version of a product mascot. Choose something viewers can connect quickly to the message on the wrap.

Custom props need an early start so design, fabrication, mounting, and vehicle operation can be planned together.

Match the idea to the conference audience

The event should influence the creative.

At a SaaS or AI conference, your campaign could bring a product benefit or category position to life. At a fintech event, the starting point might be trust, payments, or the movement of money. At a cybersecurity conference, protection and access offer clear visual possibilities.

Your objective matters, too. Promoting an after-party calls for a different message than supporting a product launch or building familiarity with enterprise buyers.

Choose an idea you can explain in one sentence

Before choosing a vehicle, answer three questions:

  1. Who do we want to reach?
  2. What should they remember about us?
  3. What do we want them to do next?

Use those answers to guide the vehicle choice, creative, attendee experience, and content capture.

The idea should be simple enough to understand on the street and strong enough to carry through the rest of your conference campaign.
